Are you new to flying RC (Radio Controlled) aircraft? Although the UMX Slow Ultra Stick is very easy to fly, we recommend learning to fly with one of our purpose-built trainer aircraft, such as the HobbyZone® Apprentice STOL S 700mm. It’s the most capable, durable, and easiest-to-fly ultra-micro trainer yet because it’s equipped with exclusive and innovative SAFE technology that makes it possible for almost anyone to learn to fly successfully! The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes everything needed to fly and is a perfect choice for a new RC pilot.

Ready-To-Fly Convenience

This Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes a 6-channel transmitter equipped with Spektrum SLT 2.4GHz technology and everything else you need to fly, including AA batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable 1S 150mAh battery for the airplane, and a USB charger. That means there's nothing extra to buy so you can fly! The included transmitter can also be used with other ultra-micro/UMX (Ultra Micro eXtreme) aircraft equipped with dual-protocol receivers featuring Spektrum SLT FHSS technology. Plus, it can be used with the included trial version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator and the “full” version of RealFlight Evolution!

RealFlight Included

RealFlight is the world's #1 RC flight simulator, and the Trainer Edition includes many of the most popular Horizon Hobby trainer aircraft from Blade, HobbyZone, and E-flite. It also features Virtual Flight Instructor lessons that help new pilots learn to fly successfully because they can practice flying on a desktop PC at home or on a laptop just about anywhere else! You can use a USB-C cable to connect the included SLT6 transmitter to a compatible USB port on your computer to fly for up to 100 minutes. Then, you can purchase RealFlight Trainer Edition or Evolution to fly any time and for as long as you’d like!

Exclusive Technologies

The UMX Slow Ultra Stick is equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X is expertly tuned to work behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, delivering a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits and automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to fly!
